Darren will be performing as Baby Boy in Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, June 20th-24th. Show times are 7:00 and 9:30 nightly.

You can now see Darren in two of the most successful shows on the Vegas Strip. He’s working on-call as a Lead Clown in Cirque du Soleil’s MYSTÈRE (Brian le Petite & Baby Boy) and along side his wife in ZUMANITY (Dick).
Next appearance on June 3rd in MYSTÈRE as Baby Boy & June 8 - 10 in MYSTÈRE as Brian le Petite.

Sadly, the Second City in Las Vegas is ending its run at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino. The final show for Scriptless, starring yours truly (show #297), is July 26th at 10:00pm. Thanks to all of those who supported Scriptless.

On Monday, January 15th, Darren will be performing a 5 minute standup act as part of a Second City challenge. Mainstage cast, Scriptless cast and teachers will be testing their skills at standup (most of them for the first time!). The show takes place at S.E.T., a show produced by the Second City as a venue to perform experimental theatre for students and professionals alike. The show is opening a new location at The Threshold Dance Theatre located at 4780 W. Harmon, Ste 10, Las Vegas. Showtime is 9:30 and the tickets are only $5! Be there!
2006 was the year that saw Darren pack his bags in Vancouver, Canada and move to the bright and flashing lights of Las Vegas in the United States of America. After returning to Vancouver to complete his previous commitment as the lead role in the short film "The Dinner Party" for a week in January, Darren landed in Vegas and made it his home. During that time this website was born and the green card process started. The Inedibles Comedy Troupe picked up Darren to perform improvisation with coach Craig Uhlir of The Second City. Darren’s work authoriztion came just in time in June to pursue an opening with The Second City Las Vegas’ Scriptless show and backup for the mainstage which he landed. Currenlty, a voice-over demo is in the works with renowned Alice Whitfield and Darren’s talented wife Shannan Calcutt working with him as a two person voice-over team.
